Fall color and free-flowing waterfalls are Mother Nature’s autumn features in the Spearfish Canyon National Scenic By-Way.  Listed by Midwest Living as one of their all time favorite drives, this 20 mile scenic route starts in Spearfish, South Dakota and boasts color-drenched landscapes, three waterfalls and numerous hiking trails like the Roughlock Falls Trail and the 76 Trail located just across from Spearfish Canyon’s Latchstring Restaurant.
