Take your family on a journey to the Old West this summer and visit Historic Deadwood. Old-fashioned brick streets and old time trolleys take you back to 1876 when gold was discovered and Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane walked the streets.  Walk in the footsteps of past miners on a hard hat tour of an authentic gold mine and feel the thrill of one of America’s last gold rushes when you try your hand at panning for gold.   While here in Deadwood you’ll see a variety of live action on Deadwood’s historic Main Street from comedy acts to wild west gunfights followed by a performance of the Trial of Jack McCall.  You'll also experience the Black Tail Treasure Hunt for Gold, where your family will pick up a treasure map and follow clues to 20 historical sites on your search for treasure. The package also includes a full day pass to  Gulches of Fun amusement park. 

 Package starts at $420 for a family of four and includes three nights lodging and entrance to  Gulches of Fun, Broken Boot Gold Mine and gold panning, the Trial of Jack McCall and Black Tail Treasure Hunt.  Suggested add- ons include Wonderland Cave, the Historic Adam’s Museum, Days of ’76 Museum, Mt Rushmore National Memorial and Devils Tower National Monument.

NOTE:   A parking pass is required to visit Mount Rushmore and is reusable anytime during the year (this is not a National Park Fee).
